    classipress front page

    hi, i know classipress is a theme , and i have checked the showcase, and used the admin demo.

    Some of the examples seem to have minor modifications from the default classipress.

    I would like to understand how customizable is the front page on classipress;

    Is the slider a sort of a widget? is that area a widget space? Also is the toolbar on the right side a widget space?
    Headers/footers?

    I can see some options in the demo for layout and color scheme but that is all. The demo is not fully functional "appearance" ect, so i cannot know what to expect.

    Thanks.

    Customization through the admin options only involved the change of over all color. Further cosmetic modifications of the theme may involve code customization.

    Slider is not part of the widget. There are widgets section in the sidebar (the main page, the category page and the ad listing page) and four in the footer.

    If you plan to customize the theme, then we definitely recommend you create a child theme to avoid losing all changes with every update. You can find specific details on creating a ClassiPress child theme on our blog.. here and here.

    Not from within the ClassiPress admin dashboard, but there's nothing stopping you customizing the theme to achieve this.
