ClassiPress Layout

Hi,

I like the look and the way that ClassiPress works, but I am a little sure about the layout. I am planning to purchase a developers licence so I need to make sure that I am first 100% happy with this theme before I invest. With the new upcoming version would I be able to customise the front page and the layout.

What I am looking to do is create a more open categories section, something like the more traditional classified sites. The sort of site that would look like this:

Jobs (Main Category)
- Part time (15)
- Full time (2)
- Country (5)
- etc
- etc

I just think a category system like this will allow the visitors to find what they are looking for more quickly? Am I right in saying this?

Please let me know if a category display system like this would be an option?

Yes I believe there are already others who have modified their themes to achieve what you mention (You may want to look through the showcase). Almost anything is possible for someone with enough coding knowledge really.

You may be interested to see the sneak peek of version 3.0 http://wpclassipress.com/sneek-peek-at-classipress-3-0/, as this also has quite a different layout to the current version which could be more to your liking. Obviously it might save you some work knowing if some of what you want to do is already done as well..

I have decided to invest in this wonderful theme.

I have just purchased a Developers Licence and I look forward to working with the newest version.
