Classipress listings, how do they work?

How do the classipress listings actually work? Do they conflict with pages, posts, or other plugins?

The ad listings uses custom post type/custom taxonomy and so there is no conflict with pages or posts and for a certain plugin to work with Classipress it must also support custom post types.
Please help our moderating team work more efficiently by not sending us support questions via PM. You can read more about how AppThemes support works here. However, you can send a PM to follow up and remind me if I missed your support request/thread.

Thank you and have a nice day.

What do you mean by that? What if the plugin is completely unrelated to postings (e.g.contactform, allinone seo, analytics, etc...)

Sometimes even if it seems that a plugin you think "shouldn't" effect anything else, it can do.

Ultimately we do not support third party plugins, so we cannot guarantee all plugins will be compatible with our themes. We have a Resources page which outlines some of the plugins which are tested and recommended. Outside of this there are more that also do work, but also many that do not.
