classipress with pheonix child

I have a little experience installing WP but have not added a child theme. In general is the process to install classipress and then phoenix BEFORE i start any of the site settings? Or does it not matter? Can I just do classipress and start setting it up and then come along later and add phoenix?

Yes you could configure ClassiPress before installing the child theme if you wish, however as per the Phoenix child theme installation instructions, you may need to set your menus again anyway once it's activated, so you may find it easier to just install it before configuring so you can get everything set up at the beginning (if you know you're going to use it anyway).
