Classipress and Sage Questions

Good evening,

I am strongly considering purchasing Classipress and had a few quick questions that I would appreciate if you could answer.

1) How does the “payments by bank transfer” work? I want to use this in Europe and am not familiar with the process and wondered if I have to put my bank account information online? Will it work if I live in the USA but do business in Europe?

2) I understand that being the site owner I can charge people to put their items for sale on my web site. Is there any way that my clients can automate the billing process so when they sell an item they get paid through paypal or google check out or something similar? I would like to automate the online purchasing of items so that the seller does not have to be in direct contact with the buyer for each sale.

3) Has there been any thought of building in multiple town/cities in the system so they can be separated out when searching for an item to buy. In other words if a buyer lives in New York City and performs a search he will only see items for sale in his local area unless he wants to look at all areas? I was thinking this would be better than multiple instances of Wordpress installed for each city.

4) When is Sage expected to be for sale as I am also interested in that as well? Will it allow me to have users log into free tutorial videos while charging to view more advanced video tutorials/lessions?

Hi,

1. if you use the bank payment you will have to instruct the users how they can deposit the money. Usually you provide the bank details but if you don't want the information to be visible in public you can ask them to email you first.

2. I did not understand exactly what you need here. If the seller and the buyer are not in direct contact how will they be able to sell/buy?

3. You can create different categories or use the advanced search and select the city you want to search for ads. You can check the advanced search in the demo.

4. There is no release date announcement at the moment. You can check the status of the release here.

I was thinking of an automated "Cart" where the buyer could place an item in their cart and then pay for it using paypay or Google, then the seller would get an email to ship the item. Rather than emailing back an forth.

I see where you can search by category, but do not see an advanced search where I could search by City/State and or ven county. Maybe I am still in holiday mode :) but could you tell me where to find this advanced search feature.

I found the advanced search and now have a few additional questions if they could be answered.

1) I found th advanced search by state/county/price and wondered if this could be placed on the main home page as options for the intial search, rather that performing a search and then using the advanced search to filter?

2) I noticed the in the USA states are listed, can other regions/area in other counties be set up similarly for local searching in other countries by local areas? The advanced search looks good I was just hoping to have more detailed control over it.
