Is Classipress a stand alone Website?

Is ClassiPress a stand alone website or do i need to have wordpress also to use it? Do i need to get a host site for Classipress? Also when i purchase the liscense will i already have my own classipress domain name?

ClassiPress is a WordPress theme, so yes, you do need to have WP installed for it to run.
Yes you will need a host, and if you choose to use one of the CP preferred web hosting partners using the links on the hosting page, you will be able to receive a discount on your CP licence. More info about this can be found here: http://appthemes.com/resources/wordpress-hosting/.
No, the CP licence does not include a domain name.

Ahh, this answers one of my questions.

So, if you need Wordpress to run ClassiPress, can you run WordPress in the background and run ClassiPress so it looks like a stand alone websites to visitors?

And, i want users to be able to type in my domain name and arrive at a page that is presented like this. Is this achievable?

Yes. But as I mentioned, you need to pay for your own host and domain name as this is not included with the ClassiPress theme.
