    Classipress theme

    Hello,

I have seen the demo on your site. Looks good, however I would like to know if the following features can be added easily.

    1. Currently as it is - the Search option doesn't allow to filter fields from the main page unless once we click search and then we can filter on Radius, Price, State, Country etc. Can we implement the same in Advanced Search option that will be displayed on the home page?
    2. I would like to offer Free ads - this is currently possible.
    3. Featured ads - Will be paid and will show on slider. Will renew and bring to front page automatically for 7 days.
    4. Urgent ads: Paid.. where the seller will indicate that they want to sell their item quickly. Not only do urgent Ads will stand out, but buyers will also filter for urgent Ads by selecting the 'Urgent Ads only' link that will be on the left hand side of category and search pages. This will let buyers find sellers that want to sell their item quickly and may be willing to accept a lower than usual asking price. The urgent icon should be available for purchase for Ads listed any categories.
    5. Highlighted ads: Paid. Highlighted ads will stand out from the other ads on the search and browse results due to the darker background colour. Highlighted Ads will have greater visibility and therefore will receive more visits and replies than other Ads.

As I understand you don't provide a trial version, how will Irun a full cycle of posting ads, editing, reply etc to confirm it works good and to my regional liking? thank you.

    In answer to your questions:

    1. There are no settings within the theme to allow this on the homepage, so it would require customization on your part if you were looking to do this.
    2. Yes, you can offer free ads or paid ads or a mixture of both if you wish.
    3. Yes featured ads do show in the slider. Ads do appear at the front of the page again when relisted after expiry.
    4. This would require customization as there are no specific features for this.
    5. Again this is a customization, although is also an option available in some of the ClassiPress child themes available in the AppThemes marketplace.

The demo site, whilst fully functional, does not allow you to complete the posting process as data cannot be saved to it. We do not have trial periods as you have already noted. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

How technical it is to customize for point 1 and 4? I am not a technical PHP person, so from that point of view is it something easily done?
For point 3, what drives expiry of ads?
If you don't offer a trial version, is it possible to have a money back guarantee? I spend some money and if I don't see the system work according to my region what will I do then?

Customization difficulty is essentially relative to your level of coding knowledge, and as we don't offer support for this you may find it difficult to make the changes yourself. We don't offer customization services, however we do have a certified partners page where you can find developers for hire who are experienced at working with our themes. Expiry of ads is determined by the time frame which you allow listings to run, whether that's specific to an ad pack or overall time setting. Due to the digital nature of our themes we do not offer refunds, there's simply no way to "return" a product once it has been downloaded. Thanks.

    Many thanks for your reply.

    Few more queries.

Is Map included in the default version? Will it work without hassle for interested region?
Whilst on the home page, when mouse is pointed to any picture, it is enlarged. Is this the default behavior?

There is a map in the ad sidebar by default yes, and yes you can set the Google Maps settings for your region. In the ClassiPress admin settings there is an option "Show Preview Image" which determines whether or not the enlarged image appears with a mouseover. Thanks.

There are advertising spaces built into the theme in the header, single ad pages and sidebar widgets, and yes you can use Adsense code in the default advertising spaces if you wish. There is no specific advertising management function built into the theme itself so managing payment of these is still done manually outside of the theme. You can also find additional banner plugins in the AppThemes marketplace which allows even more advertising banner options. Thanks.
