Comment / question on theme updates

Hi there. I'd like to purchase one of your themes and customize it using a child theme for one of our clients... my only hesitation is that you don't have any option for lifetime updates. It's usually a hard sell to a client if they have to pay yearly fees for updates as is the case with AppThemes. I am a developer and I know how important updates are for the security of any complex web application, my suggestion to AppThemes is that there are probably a lot of web development shops that like ours that would be willing to pay a lot more up front for lifetime updates. We wouldn't hesitate to pay $500 or more up front for this, but it's a hassle to have to think about ongoing yearly billing for one client site when we have hundreds of clients each year.

We certainly do appreciate your feedback. We put a lot of thought into moving to a subscription based fee structure as we have done, and at this time we are not looking to introduce any options for purchasing lifetime updates. Thanks.
