    contact form

    Hiya appthemes
    1. Why no contact form in Vantage?
    2. Why the black band at the bottom, shouldn't it be full of links?
    3. I am assuming you can login in and register and log out and in again as in Jobroller. I seem to be permanently logged in in the demo so not sure what is going on. If you press Create Listing takes you straight in but you have to register first right?

    thanks

    Hello,

There is no contact form but you can use a third party plugin. The concept is to focus more on the actual functionality of the theme and not include options/features that can be easily added with a plugin.

Yes this is the footer area and you can use widgets to fill it.At the moment there aren't any in the demo. You can see the footer sidebar in the Vantage back end :Appearance->widgets

Naturally you can login/logout just like with any WordPress theme. This is just a 'limitation' of the demo in order to work and for security reasons.

In order to create a listing you will have first to register to the site.

Please let me know if you any more questions about the theme.

Regarding adding a contact form, by using a plugin like Gravity Forms, do you know if it can be set up to email the contact who posted each listing, and not the WP site admin?

In other words, if Pizzaland has a business listing, could a form on the bottom of their listing page email contact info directly to the email address they have on file?

    Thanks.

I am not sure about this because i haven't tested the plugin. If you need a contact form for each business i guess that it will need further modification of the code or the use of a plugin like the one you mentioned.

The easiest alternative would be to add an email address in the listing.

Has there been any thought put in to adding a contact form so that visitors can contact each business in the directory (just like how Classipress works)?

Adding an email address is an option, but also subjects all the businesses to spam.
