    A couple questions

-Does the buddypress plugin work with vantage and any idea what the benefits/drawbacks are of using the plugin vs. changing the vantage code to incorporate the social functions?

-I think some things weren't working on the demo like creating new listings. Is it supposed to work because you say it's fully functioning?

    - Vantage as with other third party plugins are not guaranteed to work out of the box and will may require further code customization. Using a plugin vs. code modification really depends one's setup and the site's purposes as each has it own pros and cons.

    - "Create new listing" function was intentionally disabled to prevent unnecessary posts and spam listings.

Is that your roundabout way of saying that it doesn't work with buddypress

    Jaliu,

We have not done anything with Vantage (testing or development) to assure that it works with BuddyPress so I can't say that it would but I wouldn't want to rule it out. Likely it would require some modification.

The reason you cannot post a listing on the demo is due to the fact that we forbid writing to the database on the demo. We're looking to change this in the future but I can assure you that you can post listings. I'll send a link via PM to you of one of our test sites so you can see for yourself.

    Thanks
