CSV File Upload to Custom Fields

I am creating a classifieds website for a client, and it appears that the Classipress could save me a lot of time. I just need to investigate if Classipress will be able to meet some of my client requirements.

The one challenge I have is that users will be posting potential a 1000 ads all at once with a large number of custom fields. Is there a way to do this within Classipress where the user creates a CSV file of their listings, logs into the backend, uploads the CSV file which then creates the 1000 ads?

ClassiPress has a .csv importing tool built into the theme as shown on the ClassiPress admin demo, and you can customize the importer further if required as outlined here. Thanks.

Thanks for that! I didn't see that when cruising through the site.

Is the importer available from the User side as well, or just from the admin?

The importer is only available from the admin dashboard. Thanks.

When the CSV importer is used, can the uploaded contents be attributed to a specific user? I ask this because I am building a listings site where the end user will likely have 1000s of listing to add to the site.

Yes, the "Author" is one of the default import fields, so this determines which user the listing is assigned to. Thanks.
