csv import

Hi guys,

A couple of questions:

I have a csv file with 350 buinesses and 1500 product/service offerings.

Can this data be imported in a straight forward manner via mysqladmin?

- Can / is the data imported to a single wordpress table, such as wp_posts or whichever table "ads" are written to?
- Can photos be associated with each listing/ad via an "images" column in the csv?
- I have seen other posts stating that imports time out. Has this issue been fixed?

Can reviews be restricted to registered users?

It's not clear specifically which theme you are referring to, however Vantage and ClassiPress both have a built in .csv importing tool, so you can upload via this rather than via mysqladmin as seen on the Vantage demo site here and ClassiPress demo site here. Yes images/attachments can also be imported. There aren't any existing importer issues reported for either of these themes. You can read more about the importing tool here. Reviews in Vantage can only be posted by registered users by default. Thanks.
