Customizations

I'm wondering how flexible the design layout is. I'm interested in possibly elminating the breadcrumbs for instance or possibly adding a slider in the header or below the nav bar. Are these things able to be done and in an easy obvious way or will it take hiring a custom programmer? Thanks.

Both of these items would require customization. Simple items like removing an item (IE breadcrumb) could be done relatively easily via a child theme.

Adding a slider would depend on the complexity of the slider. This would also be done via a child theme.
