Customizing Search Bar

Hi there,

Love the theme! just a a few questions:

1. The search bar on top there, can I customize the word, meaning the words "Search For", "near", "business" and "events"?

2. Can I remove the event field from the search bar if I intend to ONLY have business listings on my site and no events?

3. Is it SEO friendly in terms of markup, like the reviews/ratings, author, and breadcrumb that it would appear in google search result?

In answer to your questions:

1. The text would need to be changed through modification of the default theme files (not changeable from within actual theme settings).

2. Yes you can easily disable the events functionality from within the Vantage admin settings.

3. Rich snippet microdata for improved Google SEO was implemented in version 1.2.1 of Vantage. Thanks.

HI thanks for the reply. Just a quick followup on question 2 im reffering to the word event in the radio bullet in the search bar. Can I remove that and leave only business? thanks :)

Yes, if you disable the events functionality in the back end, then the "events" radio button will not be there. Thanks.
