From all the reviews, threads, etc - i was told that it is best if i wanna run a classifieds site to use a vsp than a webhost?
I am confused and nervous - but i really want to do it = please advise.
Ok - lets just say i decide to go with hostgator - and then 2-3 months later i decide to move to another host, or maybe go for vps - will i be able to move it without affecting the content, etc?

Yes just start with the basic shared hosting and once your traffic picks up you can simply upgrade. I have a site with more than 1400 unique visitors a day on shared hosting and everything works just fine.
