Different headers

Hello,

I would like to have the top of my home page different than the top all other pages. On my home page I would like to have big bg picture and large searchbox. On all other pages small bg picture and small searchbox.

1. Where do I set up two different templates for upper part of my website?

2. How to call a specific template to appear on my chosen page- home page template 1 (big picture&searchbox), other pages template 2 (small picture&searchbox)?
