Can the data in the business directory be exported as a cvs? What database is being used? Can you import data into this database and if so, what format will it take?

You can use the WordPress->Tools->export function to export your listings in xml format.The database used is MySQL and you can import listings using the built in importer.The importer uses files in csv format that come with predefined fields like (title, description, author, status) but you can also add custom fields you need combined with the custom form builder.
