Is there a possibility add Drop down for cities search function?

It is not a current feature yet but some enterprising Classipress users have already implemented such. They have even shared/posted the tutorials on this forum.

How can I be sure that it works?

Users who are implementing it confirms that it works. Also, a site has been posted where it was implemented but I just can't post the site's link here without the owner's permission.

So, the only way to be sure to buy a template. But if it does not work, money is not be returned.

As a rule including that of paypal, digital downloads are not refundable and so you may need to evaluate your requirements in the meantime.
