Hi,

Is it possible for an Job Roller Account purchased more than 12 months ago to ever expired and consequently lead to job alert, new user emails not properly working?

If so, is it possible to renew or even purchase a new account and integrate this new account into the existing website framework without removing the customized features of the site?

Please advise.

The subscription expiry simply means that you'll no longer have access to theme updates or support, but would unlikely effect the existing functionality of the theme. The only time this could potentially be an issue is if the WordPress version used is no longer compatible with the version of JobRoller (depending how far back it goes), within the last year is probably not the case.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Can I assume that the latest version of JobRoller will be compatible with the latest version of Wordpress? Also it was a web developer which we contracted whom helped us set up JobRoller and thus he has the login details of the existing account. He is no longer in the business and thus I am unable to get hold of him. What do you suggest we do then? Purchase a complete new subscription with a new account? Will the integration of the new subscription with our existing website likely to cause any customization we made to the current JobRoller subscription to stop working?

I really need your help in sorting out this problem as currently the job alert function as well as other main features required for running an effective job site is no longer working. We make all efforts to ensure our themes are compatible with the latest stable release of WordPress, and no major issues have been reported since the last update. Our theme licenses allow for website developers to create websites for clients using our themes, however this does not automatically make their clients, AppThemes customers. It's not clear if you have purchased a site from them or if you have purchased the theme and they have developed it from there? If you have paid specifically for the theme and the account is in your name then we could search our records based on your payment information if you could please email us with further details. Otherwise, if you have simply hired a developer to create the site for you using their own license, then yes you would need to purchase your own theme license in order to gain access to theme updates and support. you can find more information on our pricing page.

The license purchase will not effect your existing installation unless you actually upload the theme and replace the existing theme (which would in turn overwrite your customizations). Thanks.
