    expiring ads

    Hi
I am looking at Vantage for a listings directory and I would charge annually for each listing.

Is it possible to configure Vantage to mail the author each year for payment and if they don't pay after 30 days have their listing removed?

    if that is not possible....

If I manually send them a mail every year with a "payment must be received by 5/5/15, or your ad will be removed" is there a way that I can remove an ad from the command line/api call?
or do the listings have expiration dates meaning they will be deleted unless I manually update them to some date next year when i receive payment?

    thanks

You can set for Vantage to email the listing owner to remind them to renew their listing (which they can do via a link in the email), and you could edit the text of that email through some minor changes to the default theme files as there is no actual setting within the theme admin dashboard to alter this. The listing will automatically be removed from the site once the listing has expired, so you wouldn't need to manually do this. Alternatively if the customer pays to re-list the listing, it will do so also without manual intervention unless you specifically set this to require approval before it is published. Thanks.
