I was exploring buying classipess & then club..but not sure of support..plugins..

I am a newbie and looked at various options (scripts) to launch multiple websites. And I stumbled upon Appthemes. I was exploring buying classipess & then club..but I find support is through a forum. I am a bit scared of this. Since I am not a coder, how would this approach work out for me. I love community support but find this a bit odd that I should be directed to community by an entity which is selling its product. I thought companies provide support themselves. And would I have to keep spending on plugins...? I would be very happy to see response of people who are actually running their classified sites using appthemes.
    My best

I posted it with a hope to see some users come forward, if not the company owners..But bad luck..new customers isn't a priority here it seems...but wait are old customers getting it ?
Is it that Existing customers are too scared to talk....?

Inside the pre-sales forum only unregistered users and the staff from AppThemes can write answers. We did this to keep this area free of discussions.

So that's why you may think that existing customers don't want to answer. ;)

The second reason why nobody answered until now could be, that we don't know what to answer. Are you just afraid that support via forum will not suit your needs?

Oh, I didn't know that. And I don't see myself spending time to first know that before interacting with a company ! If there was a simple direct company contact, I'd have spoken to it. But that choice is not available !
So this is perhaps to make time consuming / complicated rules I guess, to drive out new people by showing them how they have flouted rules when they first show up !
A customer / new enquiry is a newbie to a company (I admitted first !) - you don't throw rules at him as answer to his concerns !

When u say "we don't know what to answer", that pretty much sums up my concern !

I love community support and I am a strong participant in it myself. BUT it is always in addition to what the company does for its products.
I am certainly concerned to know that a company which sells products passes over its responsibility to support - to a "community" where everybody is available, but no body is responsible..which practically means it is like..open source product support, but those products are free.

While, I certainly didn't come to apptheme looking for a free product but I also didn't expect that a priced product is supported in a free product way...i.e..no one takes responsibility !
I hope I've been able to convey my concern.
