Hi

Do featured listings appear at the tops of categories as well as in the carousel? Your demo doesn't really show if they do or not.

Also is it possible to assign an ad to a user so they can edit it after they have upgraded their account or would that be a customisation?

No, the featured listings slider is by default, only shown on the homepage. I am aware that some customers have made customizations to their theme to do what you suggest though.

By default, site users should be set up as "Contributors" which allows them the edit their own ads anyway. If you wanted to create an ad on behalf of someone, then you could change the ad author in order to allow that person edit access, but other than that, only an admin could edit from the wp-admin (aside from the original ad author). If you literally wanted to stop people being able to edit ads, you can set this from within the ClassiPress admin, but this applies across the board..not per user. Anything else outside of this functionality, yes, is a customization.

Regarding point one, I don't mean is the slider shown in other sections. What I meant is, are products 'featured' by any other means besides appearing in the slider - do featured ads appear before non-featured ads in search results pages for example?

No, the slider is basically it for featured ads in terms of the default theme.

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked and it appears ok at this moment, at least in Chrome.. Are you using a specific browser?

It was happening using Chrome and Firefox, seems to be the Adblock plugin causing it. I disabled the plugin the form appeared.
