Featured listings and some other questions

Hi,

Is there a way to move the featured listings to the right side instead of the top of the page or disable them completely ?

Is there a captcha verification that can be enabled on register ,contact forms ?

How contacting someone who posted an ad works ? I am not able to see it in demo.

Do I get a full source code, including database with any license ?

Yes, you can disable the featured listings slider from within the Classipress settings.

If you check out the demo site, from within an ad page you will see 3 tabs on the right-hand sidebar (Map, Contact, Poster).. To contact the seller you click on the "Contact" tab and there you will find the contact form. There is a simple maths question at the bottom of this for some added security. This allows the buyer to contact the seller directly http://wpclassipress.com/demo/ferrari-f430/. The standard registration process does not include a captcha option, however you can probably find plugins which will allow you to integrate this if you wish.

As per the "features" page, the php source code is included with all ClassiPress licence editions. http://appthemes.com/themes/classipress/

Is it possible to disable Map and Poster tab ,and leave Contact only ?

Yes, you can easily disable the map tab by just not including a google maps API, so that can be done via the user dashboard. Removing the poster tab would involve code change but this should also be possible, yes.

I have just purchased the personal edition ,and following installation guide when adding a new theme
I get

Unpacking the package.

Could not copy file /www/needhub/wp-content/upgrade/classipress/sidebar-ad.php


I tried multiple times and my wp-content folder has permission set to 777.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to here.. is this message coming up when you are uploading the file via ftp or unzipping? Is this the only file coming up with some sort of error?

Have you noticed any other issues?

this message is coming up while unzipping ? I could not install it that way.
I had to manually upload the theme, and then install it manually as well.

I have also a question in regards to the pricing. I disabled this option completely as I want my users to post free ads.
Is there a way, by not changing the code to remove "Cost Per Listing:" message when posting an ad ?

If you're having issues when you upload via ftp you could try as I have suggested to another user, to upload via your hosts file manager.. http://appthemes.com/forum/showthrea...I-got-no-style!-)

Not without changing the code no.. If you have the ads set to free then it will say "Cost Per Listing: Free" though..
