My few questions !

Hello,
I want to create a bar directory and i'm interested in your product, however i'm interested in Jreviews as well (with joomla instead of wordpress), so to be able to choose i have a few questions:

1. In the demo i was unable to find really famous place, and although i finally find another one i was unable simply to click on the google maps results so it fills up the other fields like name and address: is it because of the demo or is it always like that ?

2.In the demo the user have to enter an address to set the location, is it possible to drag and drop the marker in the google map ?

3. In my project I'd like that the user can add a listing/review really easily, however when adding a listing it is not possible to review it in the same time, the user has to review it after adding it: that's too many steps, is it possible to review and add a listing in the same time ?

4. is it possible to have all the listings displayed on the google map ? with direct links to the reviews ? >I'd like this kind of map on my homepage.

5. I'd like to implement a forum on the website, in fact i'd like that a adding a new listing creates a new topic in that forum: is it possible with BBPress ?

6. My website will be in french only, I see that you don't have the French language pack for vantage 1.1: I could translate it but i can't spend a long time for this: how long would it take ? i understand that it depends of the translator but ... approximately ? Because I could translate it in proper french, but for my website i will need a nearly slang version (kind of bar talking attitude ...).

7. In jreviews there is a system of vote for the reviews: is that review helpful. Is there anything like that in vantage ? if not, do you intend to do it ?

8. It seems that there's only one rating... is it possible to add more ? (one may be not enough for what i intend to do)

9. I tried to create a listing that already exist in the demo and it seems that there's nothing to direct the user to the existing listing: is it normal ?

10. I would need something for events, with a calendar .. is there a plugin that you recommend ? What about an event fonction ?

11. the last one !! I would like the locate the user when it comes to the website so he can see the listings around is location .. possible ?

1. Are you referring to when you add a location to a new listing? What was the example you were trying to find on the map and what did you input for the address?

2. Yes, the draggable pin is a recent feature implemented in Vantage v 1.1.2 which was released recently.

3. This would require some customization of the default theme on your part as currently you cannot review your own listing. In general, you wouldn't expect a business to review their own business, so it's not likely this setting would change.

4. Again, this would require customization of the default theme as there is no current feature for this.

5. AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so we cannot guarantee that forum plugins will be compatible with our themes. This being said, if you were to add a forum to a subdirectory, it would not require customization to integrate into the theme.

6. You may have a better idea of how long this process takes if you look at the instructions on how to translate a theme. With this in mind though, there was a French translation file available for a previous version of Vantage which means you can import the existing translation into the latest translation file using poedit and then you'll only need to translate the difference..

7. At this time users can vote and rate the business, with the rating average appearing on the listing. I'm not aware of any plans to allow voting on the ratings themselves.

8. I'm not sure what you mean by this? Each business can have as many ratings as are posted, but you can only rate a business once if you have already done it.

9. The demo site is fully functional, however data cannot be saved to it so unfortunately you cannot create a new listing which is why it doesn't work 100% as a live version will. If by direct the user to another listing though, Vantage will not determine the listing already exists for the same business, this would be the job of the admin to moderate.

10. Events is a function we are looking to implement in a future release of the theme, however there is no time frame for this available right now.

11. This is not a default function of the theme at this time, so it would really be up to the users search.
