a few questions before I buy...

I've been scouring the pre-sales forum for hours now, so if any of my questions are repetitive I apologize.
1) Is it possible to set up a recurring payment system? Meaning that a user would automatically be billed X dollars every # of days. I saw this discussed here but since over a year has passed, I figured it might be worth another shot:

2) Is Google Checkout available as an alternative to PayPal for accepting payments within a ClassiPress site? I see it listed as "coming soon" on the features page, but I seem to have found threads in the help forums regarding the use of Checkout. If it is not yet part of the standard ClassiPress setup, would a plugin such as this one work or am I stuck with PayPal for now?
3) Are there email communications features for reaching customers, such as being able to send out a mass email to everyone with an active listing?
4) I would appreciate a bit of information about the upgrading procedure. Would my website (ie, listings, user accounts, layouts, customization, plugings, etc.) remain intact after upgrading from say, v3.0.5.4 to v3.1? Does anything not remain intact (aside from whatever the update directly addresses, of course).
