    Few questions before I buy

    Hi,

I'm planning to build a nightlife business directory and wanted to ask if there is the possibility of creating different types of events : concerts, parties , etc that will take place on a certain date., maybe something similar to facebook events??
Also if i the future I will want to change the design will I need the psd included version or the basic version will be ok for that?

I look forward to hear from you

Vantage v1.2 will include Events functionality, and the beta release is expected out soon to existing customers before the final stable release is available. Yes, you can still modify the theme even without the .psd files, but you may also wish to note that if you purchase the standard license and decide later you do want the .psd files, you can always upgrade to developer at a later date paying only the differenc. Thanks.

Thanks for your fast reply. Few more questions:

When do you think version 1.2 will be released for new customers and what will be the advantages of purchasing the psd included version.

    Thank you very much.

Typically, beta testing often lasts at least a couple of weeks unless anything major is discovered - so if beta is released within the next week as planned, it would be from that point.

The Photoshop .psd files are essentially going to save a web designer time, as all layout information such as colours, sizes, etc are included in the files for every page of the theme. You still need knowledge of .css in order to make use of the files, so if for example you were not familiar with coding, then the files would not be of much use unless you're also planning to learn along the way. Thanks.

Would the psd files be mandatory if in the future I will hire a web designer to adjust the current design of the theme or could he handle the job without them?

No, it's not mandatory, you can still make whatever changes you need to without it, so it really depends on the web designer as to whether or not they would find it more useful to work with them. As mentioned though, you can always upgrade your license type at a later time. Thanks.
