I want to have a site where i can filter the ads based upon what customer wants. Like on ebay. If i want to buy a dell laptops, i can go to laptops catagory, then from filter on left select that i only want to see dell laptops. I may then want to only see dell laptops that have 15" screen. So my results would be narrowed down to what i want.
sellers would add the screen size and manufacturer at the point they list ad.
But i need these filters to be specific to the catagory. ie, i dont want a filter for screen size if the catagory is software.
Can you tell me that this does what i want. if yes then i'll buy.
No, this is not currently built into ClassiPress. There are plans for an enhanced search functionality in the future release, version 3.1, which will enable customers to search by custom field, but at this time it is not available.
