Does the Vantage theme provide a filter option. For example, if I have a an Auto category can I create filters for Make, Transmission, Fuel, Year, etc ?

At this time Vantage does not have the option to search custom fields as you describe, however it is planned for a future release of the theme. Of note, our ClassiPress theme currently has this feature already available as you can see from the ClassiPress demo site, it is visible in the category view sidebar as "Refine results", and those fields are determined by the site admin based on the custom fields available in the ad listing form. I just want to ask you if you can tell me when will be available the future release?

Unfortunately not at this time, as considerations are still being made for the best way to implement this without sacrificing performance speed with a search of such fields. When this is determined then we'll have a better idea of the timeline, but sorry I don't have more information than that at the moment. Thanks.

Do you have update on the filters and if this is in production?

I am also looking into the same thing and wanted to have filters set up for a new directory website we are looking at setting up.

There is no update to the existing status of the custom field search for Vantage at this time, however on a related note, there is a filter plugin available in the AppThemes marketplace which allows for the filtering of locations: Multi-City AV. Thanks.
