    Forum Compatibility

I'm considering buying Classipress. However, I plan on using a forum on the site as well and after reading through many posts, it seems like you guys haven't tackled this issue yet. What forums are 100% compatible with Classipress to-date that require little or no programming?

The topic has come up a few times within the forums, and there is some useful information and examples within existing pre-sales threads which you can access here:

    http://forums.appthemes.com/installi...estions-19860/
    http://forums.appthemes.com/adding-forum-site-17724/

Ultimately there is no forum built into our themes, so it will require some amount of customization in order to minimize the amount of times your customer needs to log into your site to access both sections (this is discussed in the threads). To create a forum with little or no programming though, would be as simple as installing your forum software in a subdomain and adding a link to it from your ClassiPress installation. If you're not concerned about customers having to log in twice then you wouldn't need to worry about creating a bridge or sharing user tables between ClassiPress and the forum. This would of course be up to you :)
