    Is it possible to turn all payment options off. So that the person posting an add can do it for free and it can last forever - so ends up more like a directory than a job ad.
    Alternatively if you can't get rid of the payment option can you make it cost £0 to post an add and allow the user to register for free.

    Yes you can leave blank the "job listing fee" field (Jobroller->pricing) and allow the users to post jobs for free.You can check the back end of JobRoller here.
