free trail?

Is there a free trail for this theme? Or a 30 days money back?

I would like to install the theme and modify it to see if this is what I want....

The plan is to eventually have a free trial but it will be encrypted and expire after 30 days.

So what is the difference between the Personal Edition and Small Business? PayPal transaction logging, that exactly is that?

And if I pay for Personal Edition, could I later upgrade to Small Business or other?

To summarize what is on the ClassiPress homepage, the Personal Edition licence allows ClassiPress to be installed on one website (and the credit footer must remain), the Small Business Edition licence allows for ClassiPress to be installed on up to 5 websites (credit footer may be removed)..

Paypal Transaction logging basically will give you information about the revenue you have earned via your ClassiPress site. This displays within the ClassiPress Dashboard.

And yes, you are able to upgrade your licence, just refer to the bottom of the ClassiPress "buy" page for more info about price difference etc.. http://appthemes.com/themes/classipress/. You can also find the licence information there. :)

Is it possible to have the users register first to have their own user name and password, then they are allow to submit their listing with the 3 easy steps?

Can you have free listing and only paid listing for feature items?

Can you pick how many days the listing expire and what happen when it expire? Does it auto delete it self or can it be place in a separate category?

ClassiPress currently requires customers to register first before they can post an ad, and they can choose their own username, but this is not part of the 3 step ad process. If you want to have the option where they can choose their own password, you can easily install a plugin to achieve this. Others in the forums have discussed the possiblity of having registration as part of the ad steps, but this is purely a customization and not part of the out of the box theme.

Yes you can choose to have free listings with only featured ads paid for. Yes you can set a ad prune date so the ads will expire, and the ad effectively goes back to draft status automatically at that time.

That is a screenshot of a previous version of ClassiPress and the filter feature is not currently in 3.0.
If you are interested in customizations you can always find other threads in the forums by using the search function at the top of the page.
