    Front page search and search field question

    Hi

    2 Quick questions:

    1. In classipress, can the ADVANCED SEARCH widget be placed on the homepage? (I would imagine yes, and that it is a simple widget re-organization but I just want to confirm)

    2. Is it possible to add a kilometers search field range for the advanced search (for a car sales site) from the admin panel, or does it require custom programming? If it is possible, I assume it is also possible to add the kilometers value from the ADD Advertisements page?

    1. Currently the Advanced Search can only be found on the Category pages though it may change on succeeding versions as users are already requesting for it.

    2. No default option on this yet and yes it is possible through code customization. The theme is not encrypted and so it can be modified accordingly. Here http://www.appthemes.com/partners/ you may contact some of Appthemes certified community partners for customization jobs.
