Hello . I am new to this forum. Thank you for letting me share in this great adventure. I am ready to get started with Classipress. I have yet to get a hosting company and domain but I am going by the suggestions on the site about using Two Cows and also getting the domain name from them. MY big questions is once I purchase the domain and hosting company can I automatically install classipress and the theme of my choice to get started or are there other steps involved? This might seem mondane of a question to ask but I would like to get all my ducks in a row before I get started. Thank you for taking the time to look at my question. OH. on a side note... The site for two cows does say that it is wordpress friendly.

I don't know anything about Two Cows hosting, and I'm sure everyone and their cousin will tell you their favorite host provider. In general, Unix/Linux host providers have an application called Fantastico that automatically creates a WP installation for you. The next task would be to upload the Classipress theme files and go from there.

Also you can install wordpress yourself with the info here:

The five minute install becomes pretty simple after few times.

You'll want an FTP client such as FileZilla to transfer files between your computer and the server at your webhost:

Installing and setting up classipress:

Thank you for your information. I just read through all the tutorials and was a little overwhelmed but ready to tackle this head on. I will do them step by step ..... Wish me luck. All I need it is a domain name , hosting company and I will be ready to jump right in.
