Google maps - turn off or not have it mandatory

Is it possible as an admin to turn of or hide the map form on the register page?
Or not have it mandatory for thoose registering?

I am going to use vantage for both stores and online business that does not have a location.

Your request is reasonable, but Vantage doesn't have an option to turn off the map during the submission of a listing.Probably you will have to "hack" the code and change this.This can really easy depending on your programming skills.
