All of the files will be free because my plan is to develop a free teacher resource site. Visitors would need to sign in to the system before they could download any files though. Also, I'd like them to have the ability to upload files once they have a membership. It looks like this theme will allow me to achieve this goal as far as organizing the files and requiring memberships. However, I'm not sure if it has a feature that allows for someone to navigate to a category, select a file within that category (doc, pdf, ppt, etc.), and then download the item. Is this possible?
Thanks
What you have described is outside the scope of what the theme can do by default, so would require customization on your part. Technically yes it is possible, but ultimately this is based on your level of coding knowledge (or that of your developer)..

Thanks again and I apogize for all the questions.
The Directory style means that the Ad categories appear as a list underneath the featured ads slider on the main index page (as you can see from the
ClassiPress demo), whereas the Standard Style allows you to remove the Ad Category box from that position.
