No, the discount we offer will not apply if you are using any other HostGator promotion other than the one on our hosting page, regardless of their code appearing automatically (you'd need to change it manually to the correct code we offer). Thanks.

Yes you can use the discount code as mentioned on our promos page. In order to use our themes you need an instance of WordPress installed, but it is not mandatory that you sign up through one of our hosting partners. The option is there though if you wish to do so as well as obtain a theme discount. You will not receive a theme discount for hosting if it's not done using those links though. Thanks.
