How does HireBee hook into your payment system?

I read that with HireBee you can take a cut of the money between the contractor and hirer correct? how is that done? Do you need a special Paypal or some other type of account for this to work? it's my understanding that for something like this you need adaptive payments with paypal? Is there a guide as to how all of that is setup?

I'm the same person that wrote the above question. On the main HireBee page it says "You setup the pricing plans and take a cut of each project. " But that's a bit confusing, because it doesn't work like eLance does it? where eLance actually takes a percentage of each transaction, instead hireBee just has plans which employers buy to allow them to better feature their project right? or have I got that wrong?

(me again) and that's another thing, how does the employer pay the contractor? I don't see any mechanism for that with the theme, am I right in assuming it doesn't go via the site owner correct? so there's no escrow or anything?

Escrow is not currently provided by the theme. To use an escrow service you need a 3d party service like Transpact.

HireBee allows you to monetize in the following ways:

Employers

Site owners can monetize on “employers” by setting price plans that need to be purchased in order to post a project. Additionally, “employers” can pay for addons.

Available addons:

Feature on frontpage
Feature on project category page
Mark as urgent


Freelancers

Monetization for freelancers work by selling credits that they can use to send, edit or to feature proposals.

Thanks for the info. What do you mean though by "proposals" ? how can a freelancer have a proposal? or do you mean feature the freelancers profile? Ah, you mean feature the freelancers bid for a particular job? why would making it featured make it any more attractive to an employer? If there was a speed difference I would understand, say for example a freelancer could user credits for their proposal to appear to the employer straight away, but for everyone else it would take 24 hours or something.

Featuring a proposal is beneficial to the freelancer featuring it. Means that It appears first on the list and that he has paid to be displayed first on the proposals list. Some employers might consider these proposals more attractive but not always.

In the end the employers choice will most of the time depend on the freelancer skills and budget.

How can we take a percentage of each transaction ? Is it possible with this HireBee theme ? If no, do you know how to handle this ?
Another question : How works the payment between the employer and the freelancer ?
