How drastic will 3.0 be?

I've been mulling over taking the plunge and putting a couple classified sites up for a while now and I figured if I made the purchase I would be forced to follow through. After doing some quick reading ( I went ahead and bought ) but now I'm wondering if I found another excuse to put things off :)

Is 3.0 going to be extensively different enough that I should wait?

Waiting is really up to you, because there isn't a confirmed release date for 3.0 so it depends on when you wanted to start your site. At least you have purchased before the price increase too, so that's a definite plus for buying now :D
