How much can I customise the Classipress functionality?

I am wanting a wordpress theme or plugin that will setup my website to allow online stores to advertise their sales, clearances, discounts etc. I'm wanting something like a classifieds site, but instead of prices it will be percentage discounts for stores that are advertised. My customers will also need to be able to list in multiple categories (if the store sells clothes, shoes and cosmetics) for example.

Will I be able to customise Classipress to this extent? Or is it really just for advertising single items?
