If I Modify To a Directory For Courses - Will Changes Be Over-Written on Update?
I'm looking at changing all the occurances of 'Ads' to 'Courses' mentioned in emails and on throughout the site and generally changing the main purpose of the theme from a classified listing site to a free training courses directory, where users can list their courses for free.
If I go through the coding etc and change everything, my worry would be that upon an update they would be over-written and I would have to start again.
Are there none core files that wouldn't be upgraded? Or is there a technique that could be used to overcome this problem, as I would need to keep the site updated, for security problems etc etc.
Sorry if this is a newbie question, just not that skilled with
WP themes.
