Importing customer info (posts) from CSV file

Hi,

I would like to import a large number of business entries into the Vantage directory theme from a csv file.

I have tried this before with various tools like TurboCSV. However it doesn't really seem work for me. I am a programmer but new to WP.

Do you have or know of any tools or tutorial that could help import a large volume of posts into a Vantage directory site?

Hi David, Vantage includes its own importer tool built into the theme, and there is an example .csv file provided with the theme which shows you the fields which need to be completed in order to carry out the import. It's simply a matter of completing those fields, checking the relevant boxes in the importer page and then uploading the file. Thanks.
