- Can I integrate these two apps together seamlessly?
- Can Classipress work just like Craigslist? meaning, Can website visitors post their own classified?
- Can Classipress allow to be divided into different countries and different cities for each country? (just like Craigslist)
- Can Classipress allow me to charge for certain categories of my choice and not for others? such as real estate. Or allow me to charge for different cities of my choice?
- The website must be completely in Spanish for the Classipress section and for the Clipper section. Can this be done?
- Can the Clipper plugin allow website visitors to create and upload their own coupon?
- Can Clipper allow to be divided into different countries and different cities for each country? Therefore, each city will have its own categories and coupons.
- Do you do development? How much would you charge me to put together this setup that I need?
Thank you.
Ok, so to elaborate on your original questions further (and taking into account as Jomark mentioned, that our themes are not plugins):
1. Potentially yes, but it would require some additional configuration outside of a standard out of the box installation of either theme.
2. Yes, customers can post their own classified ads in ClassiPress. I wouldn't so it works "just" like Craigslist though. You may wish to test this out for yourself on the
ClassiPress demo.
3. Not like Craigslist does, no. It can be done, but the default theme does not automatically work this way.
4. Yes you can charge by category. You could only charge by location if categories were set up as locations.
5. Yes, you can easily translate both themes with the use of
language packs.
6. Yes, customers can add their own coupons. There is no payment gateway in Clipper that would allow you to charge them to do so though.
7. No, this is much the same as ClassiPress in that you are not going to automatically have a separate page/site for each location. It can be achieved with the use of a
WordPress Multisite setup, and some customization.
8. AppThemes does not carry out customization work, however we do have a
Certified Partners Page where you can find developers for hire who should be able to quote you on such customizations.
So yes, it is possible to acheve what you want to achieve with some customization.
A way to integrate the two themes onto one site would be to look at installing the themes in sub-directories e.g:
yourdomain.com/coupons <== Clipper
yourdomain.com/classifieds <== ClassiPress
As each required their own instance of WordPress to run. Unlike plugins, you can't just install Clipper and ClassiPress into an existing theme. I hope this information clarifies your questions. Thanks.
