JobRoller is a stand alone theme, so is not designed to be integrated into an existing theme in the same way that a plugin is, you can however install it in a subdirectory if you are wanting to retain an existing theme/ homepage for your site.
e.g.
yourdomain.com <== Your existing homepage
yourdomain.com/jobs <== Your JobRoller installation
This applies to some of
our other themes you may be looking to use as well to add the other features you mention:
yourdomain.com/classifieds <== ClassiPress (Classifieds theme)
yourdomain.com/directory <== Vantage (Business directory theme)

All of our themes will eventually be responsive/mobile friendly, and this is already the case with ClassiPress and Vantage. JobRoller will also be responsive with the next version released which is hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Thanks.
