You can use the search to browse only jobs in that location, but the filter is only for job type.
Thanks for this information. Please could you tell me if it would then be possible to re-propose the job type filter as job category.

I imagine someone with enough coding knowledge probably could. If you check out the JobRoller Admin demo you can see how these are loaded from the wp-admin side anyway..
