    language support

Sorry if this is repeating what others have asked but I can't see the replies to any of the other threads.

I'm thinking about classipress for an ads site that I want to have in English, Spanish and German.

Is it possible to set up "out of the box", or if not, what's involved if I'm to do it myself (some theme hacking or just use some plug-ins?)

    Thanks

Classipress supports the following languages that are listed here ClassiPress | AppThemes . However, you have the option to use a translation plugin such as this WordPress › Global Translator « WordPress Plugins if you want your site readable in several languages.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Without buying the theme I don't have access to the full documentation. I see that different languages are supported, but can you tell me whether users can choose to switch between them, or is it a decision I have to make at the admin level to be one or the other?

I'm guessing that adding a switch would not be too onerous...

    Thanks again

You're correct, you would have to select your preferred language as the theme doesn't currently have support for multiple languages to be used at one time. It has been raised as a feature request on the AppThemes Ideas Exchange, but there are no plans to implement anything at this stage.

You may use a language pact for that and for available language pack you can check it here ClassiPress | AppThemes .

But I do like to load a language file. mo or. po, if a user clicks on the flag.

which script do I add or change?

Our themes do not have a function to allow the languages to be switched from the front end, and doing so would require customization on your part.
