listing state options other than the US

In working with the demo version, I noticed in "submit your listing" one of the required fields was *state. Despite having different country options, it seems the only options for states are US states. I plan on using this in Mexico. Is there a way to have Mexican states available or disable that field (or some other option)?

By default, the ClassiPress theme has the US "States" filled in by default, however these can easily be updated from within the ClassiPress admin dashboard (including the title "State"), as you can see from the demo site page here. You can also disable it if you wish. Thanks.
