Is it possible to have classipress run for multiple locations.

I want a user to go to classifieds.com and it auto redirect him to london.classifieds.com

Is this just creating multiple sites on multiple subdomains, or is this done by creating one large site?

If you are targetting a big areas I think it would be better to create multiple sites/subdomains just like kijiji and other popular classifieds sites.

Location aware is possible by using geo targetting modules. There are also existing geo target plugins in wordpress.
