location search + comments

Hi, I've got a couple of questions

I'm interested in this theme, but my directory will be location based, so I need the search box at the top, but not the location box - is this possible?

I also don't want to allow comments on any listings - is this possible, and can it be set as the default?

Removing the location search field would require customization of the default theme files as there is no option in the Vantage admin dashboard which removes this via a setting. Also, if by comments you mean reviews, this also is not something that can be disabled via a setting and again would require some modification. There is no encryption which would prevent you from making such changes though. Thanks.
