Maps not required

Hi,

I'm looking for a theme where I can have other websites as listings. As these are not geographically based, their physical location is not important and so a map is not required. Can the map element be easily and completely disabled (including search etc)?

Will the theme function fully without location parameters?

Also will I have complete control over the order of listings in the seach/category/tag archive and home pages?

The map which is selected during the listing process is there by default and cannot be turned off via a setting within the Vantage admin dashboard, so it would require some customization in order to remove its functionality completely, including the search. You can control the search result order via the admin dashboard as shown here in the admin demo: Default (by order the listing is placed), Highest Ratings, Most Ratings, Alphabetical, Newest, Recently Reviewed, and Random.
