    Membership

    Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to have

    1) different membership packages, etc, 30 days unlimited posting for $30, 90 days for $45

    2) if yes, will the system auto monitor their expiry date of their membership for different people, some 30 days, some 90 days later.

    3) can the user select which different package to choose from during payment?

    4) can we limit the number of posting for different membership packages? Those paying less have lesser post vs those paying premium will have unlimited posting.

    5) will end user be able to tell the website is created by Wordpress?

    Thanks.

    1) ClassiPress includes options for you to set up subscriptions/membership packages which are for an unlimited amount of ads for set price and duration, so yes you could essentially set up the packages you describe. The options can be seen on the ClassiPress admin demo here.

    2) Yes, the theme will keep track of membership expiry

    3) Yes, they can select from the packages which you create

    4) The theme does not have the option to limit posting for subscriptions, so any package you set up is for unlimited ads

    5) If they know to look at the source code and you don't remove any footer credits then yes. You would have to make your own modifications in order to hide this kind of information. Thanks.

No problem :) It shouldn't matter what kind of control panel you're using as you can upload the theme from the wp-admin anyway. You can find info about requirements for AppThemes here:

What are the requirements to use AppThemes?
AppThemes does not work as a standalone solution. It is a theme which runs on the free CMS blogging software, WordPress which requires a web server such as apache, a mySQL database, and PHP. If your hosting provider allows WordPress to run on it (over 95% of them do), then AppThemes should work fine. You might also need FTP access to upload the theme and admin permissions to change/create folders. This is very common for any web hosting provider. We are partners with some of the best affordable and reliable web hosting providers out there today. They are certified WordPress partners and will have no problem running our themes.
    Thanks.
